This is probably the most interesting area of Boost IntaPOS as it includes many different
aspects that are completely missing in many systems. Managing memberships and making sure
that the current memberships are active is a problem for which many business cannot find
a solution. Boost IntaPOS can manage the recurring payments to make sure that each
membership is paid and up to date. If the card declines the business owner can decide
the rules for how many times the transaction is attempted, and receive a notification
when too many failed attempts occur. Point of Sale users can be notified when a
membership is out of date or not paid when a transaction is attempted.
In addition special pricing can be set for different membership levels at the point
of sale using Product Promotions. This allows you to set a product, or group of products,
to be at a promotional price for a specific interval of time. This can then be extended
to be only offered to “members” at the special price or only through specific outlets
or a combination of both. If you have a bar then this is “Happy Hour” and maybe it
includes certain menu items as well as specific drinks.
